Take action on national legislation: Write letters to your senators and congresspersons
on pending legislation and current issues of national importance to NOW members. Choose to
send letters as they appear; add, delete, or change the order of the paragraphs; send by
e-mail, fax, or print and send by snail mail.

can support your community and the work of the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council. You
can donate your time by volunteering for one of the Council's committees or one of the
area's victim service providers. You can donate financial resources to support the work of
the Council. You can help educate groups with which you may be affiliated by asking one of
our experts to speak about domestic violence and the work of the Council. For more
